About Lawrence G. McMillan
Lawrence G. McMillan literally wrote the book on options trading. His bestselling work, Options as a Strategic Investment, has sold over 300,000 copies and is widely referred to as the “Options Bible.” For decades, it’s been the go-to resource for those seeking to understand volatility, derivatives, and practical trading strategies.
An active trader since the early 1970s, Mr. McMillan is a respected educator and frequent guest on CNBC and Bloomberg TV. His commentary is often featured in The Wall Street Journal, Barron’s, and other major financial publications.
Before founding McMillan Analysis Corp., he served as a proprietary trader at two major brokerage firms — most notably leading the Equity Arbitrage Department at Thomson McKinnon Securities for nine years.
